Dalian is one of the most

thus promoting fitness for all in Dalian is a vital link of building internationally famous sports city. In order to
satisfy the requirements of citizens towards watching sports events and
participating in large-sized group activities, in 2018, the Sports Center will
pool diversified brand sports events and classic group activities to attract
the attention of citizens, and enable more citizens to fall in love with sports
activities, thereby building the Sports Center into a entertainment and fitness
center favored by citizens.
Professional events will dazzle the eyes of citizens. This year,
Yifang Football Team of the football city will return to CSL, opening a new
chapter for Dalian Football. From Match to October, there will be 15 home
matches for Yifang Team in CSL. It is long-necked year; we will see it is a
year of relegation or surprise; from January to July, six home matches of
Dalian Puquhuda Team will be held; from April to October, seven home matches of
Dalian Quanjian Female Football Team will be held. Defending champions will
also attract focus of sports fans. Dalian Tennis Open that has been held for
four consecutive years is the brand event mainly built by the Sports Center. In September,
beautiful female tennis players will come to the city and light up the golden autumn
of this city, which will integrate the tennis with city culture.
Citizens are ready to participate in amateur sports events. This
year, the ‘Sports Center Cup’ amateur sports events like Futsal Invitation
Tournament in March, Tennis Invitation Tournament in April, Table Tennis
Tournament in May, and the 3rd Basketball League for Enterprises and
Public Institutions in November, Swimming Championship for Citizens in
December, etc., will be restarted. Invitations have been sent to enterprises,
public institutions and amateur clubs in the city. The Sports Center will build up
stages for sports fans, which will integrate sports into life, and increase the
sense of happiness and gains. Each amateur sports event will become the base of
sports strengthening the city.
Road running is a popular sport and is a hottest group activity of
the Sports Center.
This year, runners for Bubble Run, Fitness Running on Olympic Day, Cycling and
Running Challenge, 24-hour Endurance Running, and Community Running will return
to the Sports Center.
Fitness fans will be no longer bystanders of sports activities; on the
contrary, they will be leading roles of the stage. Thousands of fitness fans
will gather in the Sports Center, creating a sports feast
of fitness for all.
